Here are storm totals and a review of what happened Monday, January 25 - Tuesday, January 26.
In an around Baltimore, a coating to 1/2 inch was reported by late Monday evening.
Unofficial reports from Spotters for the National Weather Service included one 1.4" observation. This appears to be the outlier. However, it was the only one taken Tuesday morning (after everything fell) and not Monday evening (while it was happening).

Ice totals of a trace to 0.05 were most frequently observed in the area.
As expected, areas of far western Maryland received 0.25 inches of ice.
Overview of the storm:
-We got only a coating, less than expected
-Icing wasn't much of a problem since roads were treated
-The moisture split and we only got 1/2 the precipitation
